Made for quick trips around central Austin, B-cycle is a bike-sharing program with hundreds of bikes and more than 75 stations.

Did we mention our bikes are available 24/7, 365 days a year? Including Leap Year? It’s true. We don’t make this stuff up.

Why ride B-cycle? It's fast, convenient, and, well, all the cool kids B doing it — Check out the video for a quick intro!

Sign up for 24-hour access at any station kiosk with a credit or debit card. For access longer than 24-hours, sign up online.

Select any B-cycle at the station by swiping your credit/debit card at the kiosk. Give the bike a good tug to unlock it from the dock. Adjust the bike to fit your height and—huzzah!—Austin is yours for the taking.

Not a member? Sign up for an account.

All membership levels include access to all stations and bikes AND unlimited 60-minute rides, so keep an eye on the clock.

Any checkout longer than 60 minutes will cost $4(plus tax) for each additional half hour.

For subsequent rides, select “I Have a Pass” at the kiosk and swipe the credit card you used when signing up. You’ll be recognized as a card-carrying member of B-cycle who is ready to burn off more queso.

Return your bike at any of the over 75 stations in Central Austin. Find locations using our station map or download the free B-cycle app on iPhone or Android.

When returning your bike , push the B-cycle into any open dock and wait for the green light to blink rapidly and beep three times. This means your bike has been docked successfully, and you’re free to enjoy the weirdness of SoCo or wherever else you’re headed.

Station full? No problemo. Tap the “Full Station” button on the kiosk to see a list of nearby stations with available docks. You’ll receive an additional 15 minutes at no charge so you can return your bike.

You must be 18 years or older to ride a B-cycle.

Riders age 13-17 may ride on our Local365 Youth membership but must wear the helmet provided with their membership or their own helmet at all times when riding, per the City of Austin's helmet ordinance Section 12-2-31.
